Manchester City Talent Kelechi Iheanacho Invited For Swaziland World Cup Qualifiers
Published: October 29, 2015Nigeria coach, Sunday Oliseh, has invited Kelechi Iheanacho team to the national team for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Swaziland after reviewing his performance against The Eagles on Wednesday night.
Though Iheanacho trained with a locally assembled Super Eagles prior to the 2014 African Nations Championship, this is the first time the Manchester City starlet has been invited to the main squad.
The 19 - year - old has been in a rich vein of form for Manchester City and was named Man of the Match yesterday as the Etihad outfit knocked out Crystal Palace from the Capital One Cup.
The Taye Academy product has caps for the Golden Eaglets and the Flying Eagles and was recently named in a provisional squad for the African U - 23 Cup of Nations.
Kelechi Iheanacho has racked up 133 minutes of playing time in all competitions this season, scoring 2 goals.
