Fulham Midfielder Dennis Adeniran Features As England U17s Thrash Armenia
Published: October 01, 2015Fulham midfielder Dennis Adeniran won his second cap for the Under 17 national team of England in their 5 - 0 thrashing of Armenia in a European U17s Championship qualifier staged in Portugal on Thursday afternoon.
The 16 - year - old debuted for the Young Lions in their 8 - 0 win over San Marino on September 29.
Today at the Municipal Stadium Carlos Duarte, the Anglo - Nigerian lasted 58 minutes on the pitch before making way for Elliot Embleton (Sunderland).
Goals from Reiss Nelson (3), Andre Dozzell and Elliot Embleton secured England their passage into the elite round with a game to spare after their next opponents Portugal defeated San Marino 5 - 0.
Dennis Adeniran is from London and joined the youth team of Fulham at the age of 12.
