CSKA Moscow Not Looking To Sell Ahmed Musa
Published: September 25, 2015Director General of CSKA Moscow, Roman Babayev, has played down speculation that Ahmed Musa could depart the Russian Premier League club in the near future, stating that the Nigeria international recently prolonged his contract.
But he is aware that several teams in Europe are keeping tabs on the pacy frontman but the Muscovites don’t intend to do business with his suitors for now.
“A few months ago we prudently extended the contract with Ahmed Musa. This is a long-term, secure the contract. Therefore, there are no worries there, ” said Ahmed Musa to championat.com.
“Moreover, Musa does not want to leave CSKA Moscow . There is a lot of talk about his transfer, but so far we have not received specific proposals. I think they will because Musa is progressing like crazy.
“Sooner or later, buyers from other clubs will come to pick up Musa. It would be desirable for it to happen as late as possible.”
