Chuba Akpom Delighted Hull City Are Through To Fourth Round
Published: September 23, 2015England youth international Chuba Akpom and Hull City will be involved in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup thanks to their hard fought 1 - 0 win against Swansea City on Tuesday night.
The Arsenal loanee, who went the distance at the KC Stadium, acknowledged that The Tigers did not achieve the victory on a platter of gold and thanked the supporters for consistently cheering the team.
“Wow what a win , had to grind it out !! onto the next round #hcafc , ” Chuba Akpom tweeted on Tuesday night.
“Feel like I just ran a marathon btw lol fans were class ð���ð��¾ . ”
Chuba Akpom has registered his name on the scoresheet two times this season but has fired blanks in his last 8 games across all competitions.
