Elderson Echiejile Happy To See Monaco Return To Winning Ways

Before the international break, the Principality side were beaten 3 - 0 by PSG but returned to winning ways with a hard fought 1 - 0 victory over Gazélec Ajaccio at Stade Ange Casanova, thanks to Fabinho’s goal in the 17th minute.

Elderson Echiejile may be out of favour with the Super Eagles but he has started the last two games contested by Monaco following the departure of Layvin Kurzawa to PSG before the transfer window closed.
Monaco sit eighth in the standings with 8 points accumulated after five rounds.
