Samson Siasia Hails Dream Team For Playing To Instruction
Published: September 10, 2015Coach Samson Siasia has nothing but praise for his charges after they beat defending champions Ghana U23s in their opening game of the All - Africa Games.
And the retired Nigeria international has admitted that the Dream Team VI will not be running at full throttle when they tackle Senegal in their final Group B fixture this weekend, as they are already through to the semis.
“You know first games are normally difficult to play and also putting in mind that Ghana are always difficult to play when it comes to Nigeria,” Samson Siasia told thenff.com.
“I must commend my boys for playing to instruction, and take their chances in the second half.
“This result will now make the boys a little bit relaxed for our next game against Senegal, as this will confirm our position in our group.”
Nigeria last won the football event of the All - Africa Games 43 years when they hosted.
