Oliseh Hopes To Polish Rough Diamond Usman Mohammed
Published: September 08, 2015Sunday Oliseh has stated that FC Taraba’s Usman Mohammed is still a rough diamond that needs to be polished before he can become a better player.
The Dream Team VI star was handed his first start against Niger Republic and bossed the midfield before he made way for Prince Aggrey immediately after the intermission.
“He is a very good player but he still has a lot to learn and I think with time if he continues to improve like he does,” said Sunday Oliseh in his post match comments.
“I have worked with him for three and half weeks and I have seen his progression.
“I just hope that he does not forget everything we have done in the past three weeks when come back again.”
Barely five years ago, Usman Mohammed was playing street football in Sokoto before he was discovered by Oliseh’s Man Friday, Tijani Babangida.
