Tanzania Coach Sends Warning To Super Eagles
Published: September 05, 2015Tanzania are hoping to get their African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign back on track with a victory against Nigeria on Saturday at the National Stadium, having lost their opening game to Egypt 3 - 0.
Coach Boniface Mkwasa has not written off the chances of his side picking up their first win against the Africa powerhouse without kicking a ball, and has warned the Super Eagles that it will not be a stroll in the park when both teams clash.
“Nigeria have always been a strong team with highly talented players and I remember the last time I faced them I was still a player but on Saturday it will be different as all eyes will be on me and the players, ” Boniface Mkwasa was quoted as saying by The Citizen.
“A section of pundits have already written us off , which takes off the pressure from our players a bit, but I want to warn the Nigerians that it will not be business as usual in Dar es Salaam as we want nothing short of victory.”
