Sunday Oliseh : We Are Here To Win
Published: September 05, 2015Nigeria manager Sunday Oliseh is expecting that his charges will beat Tanzania on Saturday afternoon in his first game as coach of the Super Eagles.
The main talking point before the game at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam was that the ex Ajax Amsterdam did not turn up for the press conference but he did make some statements to reporters shortly after their arrival in Tanzania on Thursday night.
“We are here to win. That is the spirit of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Of course, we respect the Taifa Stars, but we do not fear any team,” said Sunday Oliseh.
“I can tell you that there is a new mentality in this team and our focus is the three points available on Saturday.”
The Taifa Stars have not qualified for the African Cup of Nations since 1980, when Nigeria hosted the tournament.
