Ahmed Musa Says Super Eagles Are In Tanzania To Win
Published: September 04, 2015CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa has declared that the Super Eagles are targeting three points in their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania on Saturday.
In their opening Group G fixture, the 2013 African champions beat Chad 2 - 0 while seven - time champions Egypt thrashed Tanzania 3 - 0, meaning the North Africans top the group, albeit only on goal difference.
“We are here to win. That is the spirit of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Of course, we respect the Taifa Stars, but we do not fear any team,” Ahmed Musa, who will skipper the squad on Saturday, said according to thenff.com.
“I can tell you that there is a new mentality in this team and our focus is the three points available on Saturday.”
The Tanzanian Federation has confirmed that the Super Eagles will have a feel of the National Stadium today, starting from 1630 hours local time while the pre - match press conference will hold five and a half hours before the start of training.
