Brace Hero, Akleche Promises More Goals for Lobi Stars

Basking in the euphoria of his brace for Lobi Stars in their 3-0 demolishing of Bayelsa United in the NPFL Week 21 encounter, midfield marshal, Sunday Enockela Akleche has promised to score more goals for the Makurdi based side to end their season on an impressive note.
Akleche who has taken his Nigeria Professional Football League goals to four goals noted that the victory over the restoration boys in the match played at Aper Aku Stadium has further taken the pressure off his team.
The exceptional and box to box midfileder blasted home a parabolic short and made it three towards the tale end of the second half after an opener by Tony Okpotu for the Justin Tenger led Lobi Stars.
Talking to pressmen after his team’s victory over Bayelsa United, Akleche attributed his recent performance to God and hard work.
“I think getting two goals in this game is a sign of better things ahead, the first goal was amazing, a blaster from a far distance and the second was a team effort.
“All in all I’m happy to have scored twice today, I promise to score for this great club with great history in Nigerian football.
“What’s important is for us to get better as we play our games, victory is all that matters and I think with God and hard work, I and my team with end the season well,” Akleche said.
The former ABS player has been showing signs of greatness by the day and catching the attention of big teams in the NPFL of late.
Akleche got his historic first NPFL goal of the season against Nasarawa United, made it two against Kano Pillars and got his fourth record goal against Bayelsa United.
