Official : Chuba Akpom Joins Hull City On Loan From Arsenal
Published: August 04, 2015Championship side Hull City have announced the capture of England youth international Chuba Akpom on a year - long loan from Arsenal after a successful medical.
Akpom impressed in his first pre - season game by scoring a hat - trick against Singapore XI but manager Arsene Wenger wants the youngster to play on a continuous basis and has sanctioned his loan move to the KC Stadium.
The 19 - year - old previously spent time on loan at Brentford, Coventry City and Nottingham Forest.
Since making his debut for Arsenal in the game against Sunderland back in September 2013, the youngster has suited up 9 times for The Gunners first team.
Chuba Akpom links up with Nigeria international Sone Aluko at Hull City, who were demoted from the Premier League at the end of the 2015-16 season.
