Bobga Sambo Solicits More Support for Kwara United
Published: July 18, 2015
Kwara United midfielder Bobga Sambo has thanked Kwarans and football loving fans for the support and patience during their trial time and urged them to come-out in mass to cheer their team to victory when they face visiting Giwa FC of Jos, this weekend at the Kwara State Stadium.
Sambo, whose 26th minutes goal contributed to the Harmony Warriors’ 2-1 away victory against Ifeanyi Uba FC in the NPFL week 18 fixtures, want the fans to show more support to the team to win more matches.
The former Dolphins FC of Port-harcourt and Al-Niel FC of Sudan ball passer enjoined fans to come to stadium and support the team back to the winning ways at home to annex the all needed points to achieve the team’s targets.
“I think our confidence is growing back now after our away victory (against Ifeanyi Ubah FC) and we want to replicate what we did in Oba at home on Sunday,” begins Sambo.
“Though our fans were not happy with our previous home results but now we are promising them that with God on our side we will do well and get more points as much as possible.
“Getting our three points at home against Giwa FC is a collective responsibility, that’s why we need all our fans to support us so as to achieve the team’s dream of doing well in the NPFL this season,” he said.
