Kogi United Floats Feeder Team

As part of efforts to develop grass root football and empower the youths in its immediate environment Kogi United FC have set up a feeder team.
The team according to a statement signed by the chairman of the Confluence State club, Abdul Sule will made up of 25 players within the age bracket of 15 and 20 years.
The statement said “We have deemed it fit that it’s necessary for us to have a feeder team for our club, the players selected will be of good quality that can be able to break into the main team.”
He added that “This is our way to encourage the youth in this area, for them to make use of our equipments and environment to develop their football skills.”
The selected players are expected to be training twice a week just as friendly matches will be organized to put them in better shape.
The Wada Boys are currently campaigning in the pool A1 of the abridged league of the Nigeria National League, NNL .
