Anthony Nwakaeme Out For Three Weeks
Published: April 15, 2015Anthony Nwakaeme will spend approximately three weeks on the sidelines after spraining his ankle last Saturday in Hapoel Ra’anana’s 2 - 1 loss to Maccabi Netanya.
At first, the Nigerian forward thought he had fractured his leg but further tests were conducted, which revealed that he only sustained a minor ankle injury.
As a result of his spell on the treatment table, Nwakaeme will be unavailable for selection in games against Bnei Sakhnin, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Acre.
He is the leading goalscorer for Hapoel Ra’anana in the Israeli topflight, notching up 7 goals from 25 matches.
In the relegation round, Hapoel Ra’anana sit second on the table with 37 points.
