Fit - Again Obi Mikel Still Has To Wait For Comeback
Published: April 03, 2015Ahead of Chelsea’s Premiership tie with Stoke City, Jose Mourinho has provided an update on the situation of John Obi Mikel, who has not kicked a ball since February 7.
The Portuguese manager has said that Mikel will not not be recalled for the game against the Potters because he is lacking match fitness.
The Super Eagles star has been practicing with Chelsea since Monday after recovering from a knee problem.
As a precautionary measure, Jose Mourinho has decided not to risk him for tomorrow’s game at Stamford Bridge.
Thus, Mikel’s comeback will not be earlier than next Sunday against Queens Park Rangers assuming there are no setbacks.
