Supreme Court Squad Storm Into Semis, Face NAF
Published: March 12, 2015
Nigeria National League, NNL-bound club Supreme Court FC of Abuja will on Saturday face territorial neighbours NAF FC in one the semi-final matches of the on-going pre-season tournament put together by Nigeria Football Coaches Association, NFCA, FCT Chapter.
Enroute to the last four contests, Apex Boys tutored by Coach Fatai Osho walloped every team that came their way.
The elimination stage began with Supreme Court conquering Quest FC and FC Abuja 3-0 and 3-1 respectively before hitting Police Machine 4-2 on match day three.
Again, Premier League hopeful, Supreme Court FC showed no mercy when they saw off arch-rivals, TEAP FC 3-1 at Area 3 Playground on Thursday.
Ahead of the semi-final berth, Technical Adviser Osho applauded his boys for putting up supreme performance against their opponents so far in the tournament but observed that noticeable lapses would not be overlooked even as new football season begins with state FA Cup this weekend in FCT.
According to him “My Team have played comprehensively in all areas though we can get better. The pre-season competition came handy and I believe it will help us prepare for the Federation Cup. I look forward to the Federation Cup with great optimism.
“We will continue to build up before the new season begins properly and hopefully we will surpass our previous performance in every competition”
Supreme Court will as from Tuesday kick off FA Cup campaign with a team yet to be ascertained.
