Futball Galore Unveils Soccer Awards

Futball Galore has unveiled an ambitious soccer awards that will focus on identifying the best coaches and players in the 2014/15 Nigeria Women Premier League campaign.
Nigerian football journalists and prominent icons have joined Futball Galore in the launch of the award programme in Abuja on Thursday.
The initiative is a concept that will provide a platform for outstanding soccer players and coaches in a monthly award.
Speaking to newsmen at the launch of the programme, Chief Executive Officer/Editor of Futball Galore, Ademetan Abayomi said, “The Futball Galore Women Monthly Awards is designed to provide a structured platform for players and coaches and other partners to tap into a vast pool of upcoming talent, courtesy of the programme and build strong soccer talent feeder systems for our league and national teams, this will also encourage main actors of the league to be recognized.”
Abayomi added that Futball Galore would work very closely with all the relevant bodies overseeing the game in Nigeria - including the Nigeria Football Federation, and Nigeria Women Football League.
“We have have shown zeal and commitment to promote the Women League, the award is our own way to support the ladies and project the image of Nigeria women football.”
He however called on relevant organizations and individuals to support the initiative.
