Enugu Rangers, Heartland Eye Coach Gbenga Ogunbote
Published: December 25, 2014
The coaching future of Gbenga Ogunbote is still a riddle to many, as the gaffer who piloted the affairs of Sharks FC in the 2013/14 Nigeria Professional Football League season is reportedly a free agent.
The coach deserves a bulk of praise as he did well with Sunshine Stars and steered the Blue Angels away from the dreaded relegation in the 2012/13 season.
Coach Ogunbote is garnering much attention around the country, with multiple teams reportedly interested in bringing the former Gateway United helmsman on board.
According to sources in the know, the coach is being targeted by Heartland FC, Enugu Rangers, Bayelsa United, Shooting Stars SC and Giwa FC.
Another option available to him is renewing his contract with Sharks, but according to close advisers of the coach, he is in no rush to take a decision on his next destination.
