Aston Villa Striker Gabby Agbonlahor Cleared To Face Swansea City
Published: December 23, 2014Gabby Agbonlahor is in line to make his 17th Premier League appearance of this season when Aston Villa tackle Swansea City on Boxing Day.
His red card against Manchester United was rescinded by the Football Association Regulatory Commission on Tuesday.
The England international was sent off for the first time in his Aston Villa career in the 65th minute for a challenge on Ashley Young.
But Aston Villa contested the decision of referee Lee Mason, and lodged an appeal against their captain’s dismissal.
Agbonlahor has registered his name on the score - sheet three times this season.
