Most footballers in the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) and the Nigeria Women Professional Football League (NWPFL) have been relegated to the murky waters by majority of their club managements.
A recent example was when the management of Bayelsa Queens deducted the girls salaries and also paid them just 15% of their 2013/14 sign-on-fee. The girls were then decamped after the shabby treatment.
Majority of the players on the payroll of Taraba Queens are crossed with the authorities managing their affairs.
