Seattle Sounders Starlet Sean Okoli Named In USA Under 23 Squad To Face Brazil
Published: October 05, 2014American- Nigerian striker and Seattle Sounders starlet Sean Okoli has been called up to the Under 23 National Team of the United States for a training camp in Brasilia ahead of the start of 2016 Olympic Games qualification fixtures.
The 21 - year - old has made three substitute appearances for Seattle Sounders in the MLS this season, with only 19 minutes of playing time under his belt.
Before he was promoted to the Under 23 squad of USA, the ex Washington Premier FC player starred for the Under 18 team, and had been included in the Under 20 pool.
Sean Okoli and the rest of the invited players on the roster will leave for Brazil on Thursday.
They will train in the country for three days before facing the Brazil Under 23 squad in a scrimmage at the Estádio Nacional in Brasilia on Monday, October 13.
