Late Rashidi Yekini Mansion Burgled

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that a bandit on Wednesday broke into the palatial mansion left by the late goal-king, Rashidi Yekini and carted away many valuables before luck ran out on him and was nabbed by the residents of the area.
The marauder, Julius Johnson, 29 was nabbed around 6:pm with rugs mattress and some goods, neatly folded to be carry out of the compound of Yekini’s house located along Oni and Sons Hospital area, off Ring-road Ibadan by the watchful residents that
claimed to have been noticing his movement around the house since early hours of that day.
One of the residents who called the attention of the counsel to the late Super Eagles Striker, Jubril Mohammed who is in-charge of the estate of the deceased said the robber had carted away some goods earlier that day before he met his Waterloo on his second trip.
The legal practitioner who later handed the robber over to the Policemen from Oluyole Police Station said many valuable goods are still missing according to the inventory taken apart from the ones recovered from the burglar.
The palatial home where the late soccer legend was living before his untimely death on 4th May 2012 is in a state of desolation, and has been taken over by weeds, causing serious apprehension for residents of the area where the house is situated.
Yekini lawyer said he’s on the verge of obtaining every necessary document that would enable him to take appropriate action on the estate.
Jubril Mohammed said the deceased left behind two daughters who would be the direct beneficiaries of wealth and properties his client left behind, not until all necessary papers is obtained before the will of the deceased can be carried out.
He added that all silverware such as medals, Golden boots, plagues and personal awards won by thelate former Vitória de Setúbal top scorer have been taken away from the house and kept in a safe place after the death of his client.
