Gabriel Agbonlahor Hails Aston Villa Defense After Scrappy Win
Published: September 14, 2014Gabriel Agbonlahor celebrated the new contract he penned with Aston Villa on Wednesday by scoring the match-winning goal in their 1 - 0 surprise win over Liverpool on Saturday.
The Anglo - Nigerian, who has committed his future to Aston Villa for four years, has netted in back to back games against Hull City and Liverpool.
“It wasn’t the best of goals but I think you take them in the Premier League when they come. It’s nice to top off a really good week for me.
“We came here with tactics to frustrate Liverpool and try and nick a goal, and they came off perfectly for us,” Gabby told Sky Sports 1.
After rounds of matches in the English Premier League, Aston Villa sit second on the table with 10 points.
