Sunderland, Southampton And Eintracht Frankfurt Make Last Minute Push For Eddy Onazi
Published: August 31, 2014Hours before the close of the summer transfer market, Italy based sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that two Premier League clubs are pushing through a late move for Eddy Onazi.
Sunderland and Southampton are battling each other to secure the signature of the central midfielder.
The Nigeria international is not only linked with a switch to the Premier League in England, as Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt are also keen on his services.
Should the Nigeria international remain in Rome, he is likely to extend his contract with Lazio till the summer of 2019 , probably in the next two weeks.
Due to a muscle fatigue, he was not risked for Lazio’s opening Serie A fixture against AC Milan on Sunday.
