Exclusive : Nurudeen Orelesi Agrees Two - Year Deal With Ukrainian Club, Metalurh Zaporizhya
Published: August 21, 2014Former Nigeria youth international Nurudeen Orelesi has ended his four - year stay in Albania after agreeing to a deal with Ukrainian Premier League club, Metalurh Zaporizhya.
After rejecting the first bid from Ukraine as it failed to meet the midfielder’s valuation, Skënderbeu Korçë chiefs sanctioned his transfer when a second bid of 100,000 Euros was received.
Nurudeen Orelesi said in a brief statement to allnigeriasoccer.com : “I have signed a two - year deal with Metalurh Zaporizhya.”
A product of ECO FC Lagos, the 25 - year - old, who is regarded as one of the top foreigners to grace the Albanian championship, won three back - to - back titles with Skënderbeu Korçë.
In three seasons at the Stadiumi Skënderbeu, he recorded 66 appearances in the league, scoring 3 goals.
