Official : Nathan Delfouneso Returns For Third Blackpool Spell
Published: July 30, 2014Through the official website, Blackpool have announced that Anglo - Nigerian striker Nathan Delfouneso has penned a one - year contract with the Championship club, with an option for a second season.
In the close season, the former England youth - teamer was released by Aston Villa, where he had been for eight years.
This will be Nathan Delfouneso’s third stint at the The Tangerines, having had two loan spells at the club throughout the 2012–2013 season and a portion of last term.
During that time, the 23 - year - old managed 6 goals in 52 appearances in the second - tier of English football.
After impressing the coaches during tests, Delfouneso was offered a permanent contract.
He has had loan spells with Burnley, Leicester City and Coventry City in the past.
