Supreme Court Near Top Spot After Win Against Adamawa
Supreme Court FC again turned on style to keep top flight dream alive after posting a superlative 3-1 win over visiting Adamawa United in one of the Nigeria National League (NNL) matches decided at Area 3 Play Ground, Abuja on Sunday.

The Apex Boys left nothing to chance from the blast of whistle before finding the back of the net in 13th minutes of play.

A well-taken free-kick by Friday Jacob from close opened goal scoring account during the day’s action-filled encounter.

Jacob who showed a man of the match display volleyed in the second goal at the 60th minute of play.

Shortly after, Defender Sincere Seth made it three in the 74th minute.

Speaking shortly after the match dogged by several officiating controversies generated after Adamawa United were awarded a penalty before stoppage time, Supreme Court FC Technical Adviser, Coach Fatai Osho said his team are not far from clinching top.

His words “We will keep the momentum. The commendation should go for my players who are gradually understanding the style of play I want from them.

“If we continue this way, we will ultimately make it to the top.”

Goal scorer, Jacob added “I’m very happy scoring the goals. The goals couldn’t have come if not for team play. We play like a team and so the result is for all of us.”

At the moment, Supreme Court FC have 30 points, five points adrift table toppers, Wikki Tourist.
