Atalanta Working On Deal To Sign Victor Obinna
Published: July 26, 2014Italian transfer market expert, Alfredo Pedulla, writes on his blog that Nigeria international Victor Obinna might make a return to the Serie A.
Alfredopedulla.com says Atalanta are hoping to finalize the transfer of the attacker in the coming days, so he gets used to his teammates before the start of the new season.
Pierpaolo Marino, the General Manager of Atalanta, is an old acquaintance of Victor Obinna, having tried to sign him from Inter Milan in 2009 while at Napoli.
But at that time, a deal failed to materialize after the Super Eagles forward refused to give up his image rights to Napoli.
The 27 - year - old spent the second half of last season on loan at Chievo Verona.
