Official : Nathan Delfouneso Bids Farewell To Aston Villa
Published: May 25, 2014English Premier League campaigners, Aston Villa writes on its official website that the club has parted company with Nathan Delfouneso, once regarded as one of the wonderkids in the British game.
The 23 - year - old forward failed to establish himself in the first team squad, having spent the last 3 years on loan at teams down the pyramid.
The Academy product had loan spells at Burnley, Leicester City, Blackpool and Coventry City in that order.
“We also wish Nathan the best for his career and thank him for his efforts since he, too, graduated from our Academy,” manager Lambert told avfc.co.uk.
Nathan Delfouneso has caps for England Under 16 - 21 teams, but remains eligible to wear the Super Eagles jersey.
