Exclusive: Celta Vigo Snatched Musa Yahaya From Under Parma Noses
Published: May 06, 2014According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Italian side Parma were beaten to the signature of Musa Yahaya, hailed as the Nigerian Neymar.
The 16 - year - old could have been on his way to Emilia–Romagna instead of Galicia but he was refused a visa by the Italian embassy.
But that rejection did not stop representatives of the attacking midfielder from trying their luck with other embassies and clubs.
So much so, he was courted by the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Ajax Amsterdam before he appended his signature to a contract with Celta Vigo .
The former Mutunchi Academy starlet is represented by Babawo Mohammed, who manages almost half of the players that represented Nigeria at the last Fifa Under 17s.
