Official : Enoch Showunmi Loaned To Plymouth Argyle
Published: March 31, 2014With a statement on its official webpage, League Two club Plymouth Argyle has announced that it has reached an agreement with Notts County regarding a loan deal for Anglo - Nigerian forward Enoch Showunmi.
The 31 - year - old spent the last one month on loan with another League Two side Torquay United.
After the deal was rubber-stamped by the Football League, the Nigeria international expressed delight at joining the Pilgrims.
“I was at Torquay at loan and the renewal didn’t go through for whatever reason. It was kind of a last-minute thing when [Argyle] came in, and I thought ‘Yeah, I’ll come down’.
“I know the manager has been after me a few times in the past,” says Showunmi to the official website pafc.co.uk.
Enoch Showunmi will play with the number 29 jersey for the rest of this season.
