Supreme Court Duo Earn Flying Eagles Invitation
Published: March 18, 2014After posting a superlative performance against Dynamic Sporting Solution (DSS) on Sunday in Abuja, Supreme Court FC duo of Peter Michael and Jude Chibuike earned an unprecedented invitation to Flying Eagles camp.
Both players were outstanding in Supreme Court’s 2-0 wiping of DSS with their stylish combination producing the second goal of the encounter decided at Old Parade Ground in Abuja.
It was an encounter which drew sizeable crowd including Flying Eagles Coordinator Siki lagunju who doubles as Chief Technical Officer of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The growing presence of fans especially in games involving Supreme Court FC in recent times have been severally described by observers as an indication of the quality of the team's outing since the season began.
General Manager of Supreme Court FC Tolulope Oguntimehin who was overwhelmed upon receiving a request to release his players to join others at the current Flying Eagles camp said "as a club, we have precedence to replicating what we have done over time.
“The invitation of my players goes a long way to show the quality the team is made of. Our vision is to allow young talented guys display the stuff they are made of and with pedigree of both technical and backroom staff, the players have been well guided to do lot more.
“People have been testifying that the club’s performance has over time increased the number of spectators whenever we play our matches.
“And like the Flying Eagles Coordinator assured, the invited players will always be allowed to feature for their club anytime their services are needed.”
