Fifa Ranking: Super Eagles Maintain 47th Position
Published: March 13, 2014On Thursday, the official website of Fifa released the latest ranking of National Teams for the month of March
Compared to last month’s ranking, the Super Eagles position remain unchanged, having maintained their number 47 position.
But the African champions made progress in the continental ranking as they are now ranked seventh behind Ivory Coast, Algeria, Egypt, Cape Verde islands, Ghana and Tunisia in that order.
Spain, Germany, Argentina, Portugal and Colombia are the top five countries in the world.
World Cup opponents Bosnia and Iran are rated 21st and 42nd respectively.
The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on 10th April, 2014.
