Kevin Amuneke Happy With FK Sloboda Uzice Move
Published: February 26, 2014Two - cap Nigeria international Kevin Amuneke has signed a contract with Sloboda Užice until the end of this season.
The former Porto and Benfica youth - teamer has expressed delight at joining the Serbian top division team.
“Yes I have signed for Sloboda Užice. I have been training with the team for the past one week.
“I decided to move to Serbia to continue my career and make money for myself. I am happy with the wages I was offered, better than what I received at CD Tondela,” says Kevin Amuneke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 27 - year - old shredded his contract with Portuguese second - tier outfit CD Tondela due to his lack of game time.
Amuneke could make his official debut on Wednesday when Sloboda Užice square off with Spartak Subotica in the Super Liga.
