Bright Dike Delighted With Toronto FC Switch
Published: September 12, 2013Nigeria international Bright Dike has expressed his delight at joining Toronto FC for the remainder of the 2013 season.
The 26 - year - old attacker, famous for scoring in the Super Eagles 1 - 1 draw with Catalonia, has penned a contract with the MLS side from rivals Portland Timbers.
“I’m excited for a new start,” Dike told MLSsoccer.com. “Injuries have been tough [recently], but I’ve always seemed to bounce back. Hopefully this is a new start and a new beginning and hopefully great things will come from that.”
Bright Dike has spent the last three seasons in the MLS playing for Portland Timbers.
He netted 6 goals in 23 league matches for the club.
