What Gunners Invincible Kanu said after Arsenal's historic win against Manchester United at Old Trafford

Arsenal Invincible Nwankwo Kanu took to social media shortly after the Gunners registered a historic win against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.

Leandro Trossard's first half strike ensured the title race will go down to the final day of the season next weekend.

The win against the Red Devils was Arsenal's 27th of the 2023-2024 season - the most they have recorded in a single Premier League season.

Arsenal returned to the top of the table and will have their destiny in their hands when they face Everton at the Emirates if Manchester City fail to win at Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday, May 14.

Against Arsenal, Manchester United's teenage right-back Habeeb Ogunneye earned his seventh call-up for a Premier League match due to the absence of six key defenders namely Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelöf, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, and Raphaël Varane.

However, the England youth international of Nigerian descent was an unused substitute for the ninth time this season.

The Gunners would be crowned champions for the first time in two decades if Manchester City stumble in either of their last two games.

Kanu, a member of the last Arsenal side to win the Premier League in 2003-2004, has praised his former club for taking the title race to the final day of the season.

He wrote on X: "KAN U believe it? Arsenal are fighting so hard in this race to the finish line.  Let’s go"
