Confirmed : Turkish club Eskisehirspor mutually terminate contract with Sholaja
Published: April 12, 2021Little-known Nigerian winger Hamed Sholaja is now in search of a new club after calling time on his adventure with Eskisehirspor, the Turkish First League outfit informed through a press release on Monday, April 12.
The 21-year-old has reached an agreement with the management of Eskisehirspor to terminate his contract by mutual consent.
He joined Eskisehirspor in August 2019, first starting with their U19 team before earning promotion to the first team.
"The contract of Hamed Sholaja, one of our club players, was terminated by mutual agreement, based on the receivables," Eskisehirspor said in a statement.
"We thank our player for his efforts to our club and wish him success in his career."
This season, Sholaja made 24 appearances in all competitions for Eskisehirspor, scoring one goal and setting up two others in 1,386 minutes of action.
